Michael Evans
Michael Evans has a PhD in Mathematics from Monash University and a Diploma of Education from La Trobe University. He currently holds the honorary position of Senior Consultant at the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute at the University of Melbourne. He was Head of Mathematics at Scotch College, Melbourne, and has also taught in public schools and in recent years has returned to classroom teaching. He has been very involved with curriculum development at both state and national levels. In 1999, Michael was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws by Monash University for his contribution to mathematics education, and in 2001 he received the Bernhard Neumann Award for contributions to mathematics enrichment in Australia.
Kay Lipson
Kay Lipson's experience extends through teaching mathematics and statistics at both secondary and tertiary level, as well as extensive periods as a VCE examiner. Kay is currently the Director of Strategy at Swinburne Online.
Neil Cracknell
Neil Cracknell has significant expertise in senior school mathematics. Having retired from his position at Scotch College, he currently teaches at Ivanhoe Grammar.
Josian Astruc
Josian Astruc is a highly experienced teacher of senior VCE Mathematics. Now retired, he has presented at both teacher and student seminars on Specialist Maths.
Peter Jones
Peter Jones is a Professor Emeritus and formerly Head of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology. He has been an active supporter of school mathematics over many years and helped pioneer the introduction of graphics calculators into Victorian schools.
Peter is a highly experienced writer of mathematical text and he is the lead author on two of the Essential VCE Mathematics textbooks. His area of expertise is applied statistics.
Chicri Maksoud (Consultant)
Chicri is Senior Mathematics Teacher at Brisbane Boys' College.
Steve Sisson (Consultant)
Steve is Head of Mathematics at Redeemer Lutheran College, Rochedale.
Trevor Redmond (Consultant)
Trevor is Head of Mathematics at Somerville House, South Brisbane.
Ray Minns (Consultant)
Ray is Curriculum Leader – Mathematics at Northpine Christian College, Dakabin.
